around有環繞、四處、附近的意思，clock是時鐘， 
那around the clock是指“時鐘附近”？是“繞著時鐘跑”？ 
這又代表什麼意思呢？ 

例如 
That bar is open around the clock. 
所以那間酒吧是……
1、開門時間不定時。 
2、座落於鐘塔附近。 
3、24小時營業。 

Answer: 3
是指不眠不休，日以繼夜的意思。

定義：at all times.Existing or occurring without interruption or end. 

例句 The two sides talked around-the-clock, trying to reach an agreement before the approaching deadline. 
雙方日以繼夜地談判，努力在即將到來的期限前達成協議。 

The workers work in three shifts around the clock. 
工人們日夜不停地分三班輪流工作。
