每次到了要邀請人來參加派對等活動,
名單總是麻煩.
因為
一下誰來誰就不來等的問題
雖說難免有對盤及不對盤的問題,
不過到是讓小編想起
不知這”小心眼” 詞英文不知怎麼說
舉例來說:
Are you coming to my birthday party tomorrow?
Mmmmm...I'm afraid not.
Because XXXX is also coming. .
Why? I thought you two were friends.
你不知道，上次見面, 我心直口快説XXX 好像胖了點，
結果她好像不高興
少和我說話！太小心眼了！
You can say a person is petty.
It means narrow-minded and mean.
XX一定還在記仇, hold a grudge.
Oh, come on! I'm sure she has gotten over it!
Get over it 就是“不再計較”
