在荒漠中可望見發散神秘橘色火光的巨大坑洞閃亮著，散發神祕詭譎的氛圍~~

The Darvaza Gas Crater or The Burning Gates is in the heart of Turkmenistan's Karakum desert. 

這是位在土庫曼的卡拉庫姆沙漠中心的天然氣火山口，叫達瓦札天然氣火山口。

Locals call it the Door to Hell, a giant burning pit that has spit out angry flames for more than 40 years。

已經燃燒超過40年的大坑，當地人稱為’Door to Hell’(地獄之門)。

這坑據說是在1971探勘鑽探時造成塌陷後留下的，內部的天然氣與有毒氣體不斷外洩，不得已地質學家決定點燃天然氣，以避免有害氣體外洩，原本希望能在幾天內熄滅，但結果就這樣持續燃燒了四十多年~~

"It takes your breath away," said Gozel Yazkulieva, a 34-year-old visitor from the Turkmenistan capital Ashgabat. "You immediately think of your sins and feel like praying."

一名34歲來自土庫曼斯坦首都阿什哈巴德的遊客Gozel Yazkulieva說

“這真令人目瞪口呆”。 

“你馬上就會想到你的罪，覺得自己該祈禱。”
