偶然在菜單(menu)中瞥見單字Slider(s)時充滿困惑…
Slide是滑動、幻燈片的意思，但出現在menu裡！？

後來才知道那是迷你小漢堡，
雖然美國速食食物總是給我們一種超大份量的既定印象，其實也是有迷你版的，例如其中的代表Slider(s)就是。

許多美式餐廳常常可以看到，除了size縮點水外，裡頭的料倒沒有什麼不同，而且一口一個，愛吃的人吃起來也比較沒有罪惡感。

那為啥叫Slider(s)呢？

 

We had always heard that the nickname came about because the burgers were so greasy and small that you could just swallow them whole and they’d just “slide”down your throat.
原來Slider這綽號是因為這小漢堡既油又小，一口吞下一個，然後它自己就會滑過(slide)你的喉嚨。
