記得我到英國念書時，被海關人員問到：Was your flight direct flight?  但是那時不知為什麼，竟然忘記　direct flight　的意思，所以就跟海關說：I don’t know. 　那時海關心中一定想: [ 什麼　! 連自己是不是搭直飛班機都不知道 ]  !  還好海關還是讓我進入英國了！

*** airline 航空公司

Which airline are you flying with ? 你搭那家航空公司

*** airport 機場

The airport is located about 20 minutes from the city. 那個機場離城市約20分鐘路程

*** aisle seat靠走道的位子

I prefer sitting in an aisle seat.  我喜歡靠走道的位子

那麼靠窗的位子怎麼說呢? 就是 window seat 喔!

*** board  登機

The flight will start boarding in about ten minutes. 飛機將在十分鐘內開始登機

常聽到的Boarding pass 就是［登機證］!

***  connecting flight 轉接班機

I was able to get a good deal on my ticker because I have two connecting flights.

我買到便宜的機票因為我必須轉機兩次。

直飛的班機要怎麼說呢?　就是　direct flight　！

*** customs 海關　（常大寫並以複數表示　）

Did you have any trouble with the Customs ?   你通過海關時有麻煩嗎？

提醒大家，Custom 還有另一個意思很常見：（社會，團體的）習俗，慣例

*** destination 目的地，終點

We will reach our destination in 30 minutes. 我們將在 30 分鐘內抵達目的地。

*** flight attendant 空服員

The flight attendant asked passengers if they wanted chicken or beef for dinner.

空服員問乘客晚餐要吃雞肉還是牛肉？

*** gate 登機門

Only passengers are allowed behind the gate.  只有旅客才能進登機門。

*** landing 降落

Please fasten your seat belts during take-off and landing. 請在起飛與降落時繫緊安全帶。

Accommodation & Transportation  住宿和交通

*** front desk　服務台

He called the front desk to request more towels.　他打電話到服務台要求更多的毛巾。

*** lobby　旅館大廳

There is information  about location attractions in the lobby.　　旅館大廳裡有當地旅遊景點的資訊。

*** luggage　行李　　（　不可數　）

I will need some assistance with my luggage.　　我需要人幫忙提我的行李。

*** voucher 　抵用票券

The hotel gave me a voucher for breakfast. 飯店給了我一張早餐票券。

*** exchange rate　匯率

What is the e exchange rage for American dollars ?　美元的匯率是多少？

*** shuttle bus  接駁車

The shuttle bus leaves for the airport every half-hour.　　接駁車每半小時開往機場。

*** refundable　可退費的

Is your train ticket refundable ?　你的火車票是可退費的嗎？

*** rush hour　尖峰時間

We should leave for the train station early if we want to avoid rush hour.　如果要避開尖峰時間，我們應該要早點到火車站。

就我搭過的航空公司，我覺得飛機餐最好吃是:　荷蘭航空 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines ! 　很令人意外吧！　其實我本來也沒有抱很大的期待，因為看起來很普通，但是吃了之後真的還不錯呢！不過聽說 Air France 法國航空的也很棒！希望下次有機會可以嘗試。你覺得哪家航空的飛機餐最好吃呢？
