都知道單字mess就是指亂七八糟、混亂
例如
Your room is in such a mess; please clean it up.
你的房間簡直一團糟，請清理一下。
可是如果有一天你聽到了又是6又是7的片語 “at sixes and sevens”
別懷疑，那也是指亂七八糟，也有(心情)混亂的意思。
有趣的是，在中文裡我們用數字7和8 ”七上八下”
而英文裡卻是用6和7來形容，而且還必須是複數喔!!!
定義：If you say that something or someone is at sixes and sevens,
you mean that they are confused and disorganized.
例句：
On the day before moving, the whole house was at sixes and sevens.
搬家的前一天，整個家亂七八糟。
